There is a new addition to the Versace Eros fragrance family. Introducing Eros Energy, an invigorating citrus-woody fragrance for him that captures the spirit of the Mediterranean.

“Versace Eros Energy is an ode to love and desire, transcending all limits,” explains perfumer Jordi Fernandez. “I found my inspiration for Eros Energy in the breathtaking beauty of Italy’s coastline. It’s a place where the land meets the sea in a passionate embrace, much like the god Eros himself.  When creating the fragrance I aimed to capture the essence of this coastal paradise, infusing it with the irresistible magnetism of Eros Pillar. It’s a fragrance that embodies the very essence of desire, a fresh wave of citrus and white amber that will make you feel sexy and undeniably joyful, while staying loyal to the allure of Eros.”

Inspired by the perfection of nature and driven to capture its entirety and complex beauty, Fernandez creates unique perfumes with a powerful sillage and long-lasting presence. From the Mediterranean cologne that evokes his childhood memories to the oud and incense from the Middle East that embody the breathtaking sunsets in the dunes, Jordi draws inspiration from his own emotions, cherished memories, people and his continuous travels, which enable him to explore a diverse range of ingredients. As a self-taught and resilient perfumer, he declares that ‘perfumery is a visionary art’, as his creations strive to reflect the current society, its people and their evolution. Being a perfumer is not only his chosen profession but also a way of life which he seeks to showcase the splendor of nature.

Versace Eros Energy: The Fragrance

Opening with a tantalizing burst of citrus brilliance, it offers a vibrant and uplifting start. The sun-kissed essence of bergamot from Italy is in fact enriched by the zesty notes of blood orange, lime, lemon, grapefruit and mandarin, creating a harmonious blend that radiates pure joy.

Moving into the heart, pink peppercorn and blackcurrant bring a touch of intrigue and sensuality. Together with white amber, they represent the passion and desire that are at the core of this fragrance.

Patchouli finally adds depth and richness, while musk provides a soft and inviting aura that envelops you in a warm embrace. Oakmoss adds an earthy and green facet, anchoring the fragrances in a timeless elegance.

Top notes: Italian bergamot, Italian blood orange, lime from Peru, Green Mandarin from Italy, grapefruit, Italian lemon

Heart notes: pink peppercorn, blackcurrant, white amber

The Face of Versace Eros Energy: Channing Tatum

“I loved working with Channing Tatum for this shoot. Not only does he look amazing, he also put his heart into this campaign. He shows strength and power and is also one of the kindest and most charming men I have met. He defines modern masculinity. The perfect Versace man. There is no one better to embody Eros,” enthuses Donatella Versace in an Instagram post. She handpicked Tatum to star in the global ad campaign for Eros Energy which was directed by photographers Mert & Marcus. Channing picks up a bow and shoots an arrow into the sky. He then races across the desert and catches it in his hand.
