Jeremy Fragrance unveils the most-anticipated scent book of 2025
Jeremy Fragrance is arguably the most influential social media personality in the world today with a rapidly loyal 9.7 million followers on Tik Tok. Ask any tween or teen guy and he will likely respond enthusiastically to the name crediting this authenticity and believability. Jeremy Fragrance’s pull is so strong that a mere recommendation of a scent can lead to retailers selling out overnight. That was the case several months ago when he raved about Versace Eros Flame, a spicy-woody fragrance for him housed in a deep red square bottle embossed with a Medusa emblem. Retailers couldn’t figure out why the scent, launched in 2018 suddenly sold out.
Jeremy Fragrance is the brainchild of Daniel Schutz (born Daniel Sredzinski on February 5, 1989 in Oldenburg, West Germany). The social media personality and businessman started out with an interest in dance and landed a part-time job at the Oldenburg State Theatre producing private dance tutorials from 2007. He later joined boy band Part Six and released a solo single entitled “All of Me”. To make ends meet, he modelled on the side.
It was in 2014, when Daniel hit gold by reviewing fragrances online on Youtube. One of his first reviews achieved over two million views. He would later jump ship to Tik Tok where his number of followers skyrocketed into the millions.
“It was important to me from the very beginning that I convey my content in a crisp and likable way. I’ve always been aware that viewers have a wide range of channels they can watch,” he writes in his upcoming book, ‘Power Baby’. “That’s why you have to force yourself not to produce videos that are too long, so that there’s a greater chance that they’ll be watched. Another of my strengths is my emotionality. I have always tried to build bridges directly into the minds of my viewers. After all, there’s little point in explaining perfumes factually. ‘The fragrance smells like bergamot, sandalwood, and cedar.’ And now what? But if I tell a story around the fragrances that the viewer can identify with – for example, that pretty woman approached me about my fragrance – and the viewer wants that experience too, then he will remember the story, perhaps buy the fragrance and meet a beautiful woman of his own. Then he’ll come back to my channel, tell his own story in the comments, and continue the eternal cycle, which is pure gold. My stories grabbed people on a different level.”
Schultz is about to publish on of the most-anticipated books in the world of perfumery on December 31, 2024. Entitled, Power, Baby! The Jeremy Fragrance Story, the book tells the behind-the-scenes story of how the man dressed in the iconic white suit sparked a passion for fragrance within GenZ guys. He honestly explains what family, faith and discipline mean to him and how he overcame multiple obstacles.
