Magnify your Bergamot
Italian bergamot citrus is one of the most popular notes in both women’s and men’s fragrances today. In fact, the fresh, uplifting essential oil, a key ingredient in Earl Grey Tea, appears in well over 75% of new scents launching today. Perfumers love it because it has such a clean, crisp aroma and makes a wonderful first impression in a fragrance. Sadly, the note tends to burn off after 30-to-45 minutes after you spray a scent.
Bvlgari has ingeniously developed a new way to magnify bergamot in any scent in your collection. Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier developed what is called a ‘magnifying essence’ that you spray over any eau de parfum or eau de toilette. This instantly boosts the bergamot aroma while still maintaining the overall structure of the fragrance.
“A spritz of Magnifying essence intensifies or twists the vibe of an eau de parfum and gives it that signature Italian touch of ‘molto’,” says Bvlgari.
“Think of Bvlgari Allegra Magifying Essence as containing rich concentrations of precious materials distilled from the best harvests,” explains Cavallier. What makes this product even more special is it is blended to be worn on its own as well. It follows the classic French structure of top, heart and base notes. So if you love citrus, you can wear this on its own too.
“Magnifying Essences are a celebration of the most exquisite essences available in nature.” – Perfumer Jacques Cavallier
Bvlgari Allegra Bergamot Magnifying Essence is available in Canada at Holt Renfrew.

September 1, 2023 at 12:43 pmBefore Scent Lodge I’ve never heard of Bergamot notes. Bvlgari Allegra fragrance line is a fragrance line that will eventually end up in my collection. The shape of each flacon is so beautiful and reminds me of Marrano glass that Italy is so known for.
