My favorite is Bvlgari’s Le Gemme Tygar which for me is a new fragrance. The iconic Lanvin’s Arpege in a black flacon was and will always be a classic!

The attraction to the bold red flacon is immediate. The fruity-florals are uplifting, the woody-chypre is sensual and warm and the aromatic-woody scents are energizing.
    All FABULOUS!

My love of nature goes hand in hand with the rise of wood-themed scents not only for men but especially for women’s fragrances.

I love gardenia but even more appealing is the Tunisian orange blossom with vanilla bean. “Addictive” is the right word to describe this fragrance.

Loved this article, especially the tip about choosing a new fragrance for your wedding to pin your memories to the scent. Love that tip.

As an aside, my Mother’s wedding bouquet was entirely Lily of the Valley. Such a gorgeous scent!

I used to like roses but the past 5 years of seemingly constant funerals due to C and C-related sickness have now made me associate the smell of roses with funerals. The Joe Malone one is especially evocative of yet another sad gathering. I had to give my almost full bottle of it away. It’s really amazing how smell can be associated with events.
