The Scentlodge.com Online Store is now open

After three long years of development, Canada has a new online fragrance destination. Scentlodge.com has finally launched offering the best fragrance gift-with-purchase items, exclusive brands, free check-out samples and an exciting rewards program (that will debut soon). It’s all the brainchild of fragrance veteran Nicholas Krikorian who dreamt of offering scent enthusiasts coast-to-coast with a unique e-shopping experience.

“We wanted to share our passion and excitement with a uniquely Canadian perspective,” he says. “From virtual scent consultations with our olfactory expert Melanie Caplan to special master classes, we want to take the art of perfumery to the next level.” Unlike some prestige sites that can be a little bit intimidating, scentlodge.com welcomes everyone – all ages, backgrounds and tastes. “If you love fragrance, you are welcome. You’ll see this approach on our social platforms (Instagram and TwitterX), our newsletter and our editorial blog scentlodgeedit.com.”

Amongst global blockbuster brands such as Versace, Coach, Montblanc and Jimmy Choo, you’ll find an eclectic selection of niche brands handpicked by Nicholas. Italian brand Mine Perfume Lab is his latest discovery, a niche perfumer based in Naples that hand blends every batch of scent using authentic Italian techniques. These are scents for him and her unlike anything you’ve smelled before. “I appreciate fragrances with a strong character and great quality,” he adds. Also on his current favourites list is BOIS 1920, based in Florence, Italy. These artisan scents reflect the art and character of Italy.

One of the things we heard often from our Scent Lodge followers is good check-out sampling matters. There is nothing more frustrating than checking out and picking your favourite free vial samples only to find out they are sold out. The Scent Lodge team promises to offer a full stock of great samples every day of the year. (You get to pick three free samples with every purchase.)

You’ll notice Scent Lodge features very special illustrations reflecting Canada. These are created by one of the country’s most famous illustrators, Maurice Vellekoop. He’s worked with American Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, The New York Times, Elle and more. His inclusive artwork always has a joy and air of fun. We’re honoured to work with him.
