This week, we’ve selected the refreshing Coach Blue Eau de Toilette, 100 ml, to give away to one lucky newsletter subscriber.
When it comes to modern perfumery, there are no men’s or women’s fragrances. A perfumer doesn’t formulate a fragrance based on gender. This is all marketing. Fragrance houses and designer brands market scents to men or women with specific advertising and social media campaigns. But in reality, fragrance is genderless. We love the piece of advice we got years ago from a top perfumer who said, “Wear what you love. If a scent appeals to you, wear it. It doesn’t matter what the marketing says.”
This couldn’t be truer with Coach Blue. The fresh spicy-aromatic eau de toilette smells equally good on men and women. That’s because there is a nice balance between citrus, pepper, amber and airy notes. It’s one of Coach’s best scents.
Brand: Coach Blue
Romance: This spicy-aromatic fragrance for him blends notes of lime, ozonic ingredients, black pepper, amber and cedar. But it is a hint of absinthe that gives this scent character. It has a sense of adventure to it.
Ingredients: lime, absinthe, ozonic ingredients, black pepper, amber and cedar.
THE GIVEAWAY
We gave away Coach Blue Eau de Toilette, 100 ml, to one lucky newsletter subscriber. To enter, we asked readers to tell us in a blog post comment below if they’ve ever worn a fragrance marketed to the opposite sex? Sarah S from Manitoba told us and we drew her name from all entries. Congrats Sarah!
Coach Blue is available in Canada at Shopper’s Drug Mart stores, shoppersdrugmart.ca, Hudson’s Bay stores and thebay.com

February 16, 2022 at 9:53 amI actually used to wear only men’s scents for many years, not a fan of the floral type scents that would dominate the women’s scents. This sounds marvelous!
