First Look: Oscar de la Renta’s Bella Bouquet
New York fashion house Oscar de la Renta is taking you on an olfactory trip to the lush gardens of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic with the brand’s upcoming Bella Bouquet fragrance. It’s a joyful fruity-floral scent for her that immediately transports you to Oscar’s beloved gardens at his Dominican Republic home.
“I was inspired by Oscar de la Renta’s vibrant, lush gardens in Punta Cana. Bella Bouquet is a beautiful feminine floral that captures the tropical dreamscape with luscious greens, opulent florals and sensual woods,” explains perfumer Claude Dir.
The scent also pays homage to Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim’s pre-spring 2022 collection that features whimsical floral prints and detailing. The bright turquoise blue bottle features an intricate garden pattern of leaves, blooms and vines – another nod to Oscar’s passion for gardening.

He would go on to work with Cristobal Balenciaga and Antonio del Castillo before launching his own fashion house in New York City.
